Speaker, trainer, author Terri Hoyland Wendler, Ph.D. has more than 20 years experience working with people to recognize their personal resources and how to use them to create the life they want. This includes getting through the difficult times as well as going for their goals.
In recent years, Terri has been actively working with terminally and seriously ill individuals, families, and caregivers to ensure dignity and compassion, especially during end of life. She also supports those with a good prognosis by empowering them to take control of their care and recovery.

Wise Words

I was impressed from the first moment of seeing this book. The striped coloring, not only on the cover, continues on the pages inside. Cancer is bigger than us all..and we can never have too much advice or helpful words. People sharing their experience in a one page journal type writing made it an easy book to "bring with"...because you can always continue with a new thought or memory of a fellow survivor. Smiles come as I realize I know exactly what the person was going through or feeling when they wrote this. Feels as if it is a collection of notes from friends. The back of the book even has a place for my own notes...things I remember that helped me. I collect words..and "Wise Words" is a great organized addition to my endless post-its, notebooks and journals! Thank you!
